好味止园葵，大懽止稚子。
The odour of sunflowers captured my senses,
and kid’s I lauded them more than anything else.
平生不止酒，止酒情无喜。
I’d drunk nonstop throughout my whole life,
knowing it all felt wrong as I disconnected.
暮止不安寝，晨止不能起。
I tried to slow down at dusk, but couldn’t sleep,
and lay down at dawn, I couldn’t get up.
日日欲止之，营卫止不理。
Day after day, I’d wish I could apprehend,
and never omit any metabolic incoherence.
徒知止不乐，未知止利己。
It’s difficult to ignore and be ignored,
It’s hard to withdraw from any benefit.
始觉止为善，今朝真止矣。
At present the virtue of renouncement
truly becomes clear reaching its deadline.
从此一止去，将止扶桑汜。
Since I retire from going anywhere, I’ll soon
make a halt near the island of immortals,
清颜止宿容，奚止千万祀。
where apparently youth lodges so far…
why should I sacrifice thousands of years?
